Elle Esquer
Freshman Elle Esquer described the 3 sports she plays as " fun energizing and a great experience." Unlike most 9th graders, whose schedules reflect their expectation that high school homework would take up most of their time, Esquer juggles multiple sports and hobbies. Her advice for managing time "Start homework right away." Along with doing basketball, lacrosse, and cross country, Esquer plays piano, aims for straight A's and enjoys reading and baking in her free time. No matter her schedule Esquer still takes time to give to back to her community at the Harbor House on Thanksgiving in Oakland, distributing boxes of food so everyone can have a Thanksgiving dinner. Always willing to work together, Esquer said "being part of a team" is all the motivation she needs to keep up her busy life.
