Sophomore Gracie Woidat enjoys volunteering at the Lawrence Hall of Science during the summer, where she is stationed at various exhibits to explain to children how they work and their scientific importance. "I really like working with little kids, and I enjoyed it because it was always fun and exciting," she said.

Since elementary school, Woidat loves to involve herself in experiments and hands-on projects. "I really like science, and I think I want to do something in the science region in the future," said Woidat.

In the future, she's considering becoming a meteorologist or biologist as a possible career.

For now, Woidat still plans on learning more about science and showing others how the world works.
