Starting this spring, Ryan Jeter will begin his of high school club basketball, a game he has played since the fourth grade. Jeter participated in CYO's (Catholic Youth Organization) club basketball. "I played for Saint Monica's church in elementary school but decided to switch churches and go to Saint Mary's in eighth grade." he said. Once the season starts in spring, he will be practicing once a week to prepare for a summer AAU season. "Once school ends, there will be practice two times a week and the games jump up to about five to six a week. The most I have played is nine games in five days," Jeter said. Over the summer he spent two weeks playing tournaments in Portland, Vegas, and Los Angeles. However, he said that he's not looking into an athletic career. "I want to go to college to focus on school," he said. "Basketball is just something I like to do,"
