Jensen Rasmussen
Junior Jensen Rasmussen has moved several times between California and Oregon, but a constant in her life has been ballet. Although Rasmussen has been dancing for almost her entire life, she became serious about it when she moved to Oregon. Her love and commitment to dance has only grown since.

After moving back to Moraga, she joined Contra Costa Ballet and has cultivated a work ethic and discipline that has helped her in all aspects of life. “Dancing has given me a good work ethic starting from a young age that has translated to skills in the classroom," said Rasmussen.

Although Rasmussen hopes to dance professionally, joining a company after high school, her current goals are focused on school, and she is excited to bring a unique view to the journalism class.
