Shoes Rain Down on Rally Competitors

The Homecoming Rally took place in the big gym prior to the lunch period on October 17.

It was there that junior Jack Lawrence was yanked from a  song and dance number due to some questionable moves. Nevertheless, the set continued, with singers crooning Meagan Trainor’s “All About That Bass” in the background.

The audience seemed to enjoy the dance well enough, as cheers continued through the song.

Class competition followed, with a representative from each grade sent on a scavenger hunt for two shoes (tied together), belts, and red backpacks. Eager audience members threw down the requested items from the stands. The juniors managed to pull out a win.

The rally opened with a performance from the cheerleaders.  A “The Sandlot” themed video promoting the football game concluded the ceremony.
